Frequently asked questions
How do I record a meeting?
Open MeetNGuru, tap the Record button and grant microphone permission when asked. Tap stop when the meeting ends, give it a title, and the recording is uploaded for processing.
How long does it take to get my notes?
Most meetings are analysed within a minute or two of uploading. You'll see a "processing" status, and the notes appear automatically when ready. If notifications are enabled, you'll get an alert.
What's in the notes?
Each processed meeting gives you a summary, formal minutes, key decisions, action items with owners and deadlines, and a full speaker-labelled transcript.
Why does the app need microphone access?
The microphone is required to record meeting audio. Recording only happens when you explicitly start it. You can revoke the permission anytime in your device settings.
Can I use it in any language?
Yes — MeetNGuru transcribes and summarises in the language spoken in your meeting.
Is my data private?
Your recordings are stored privately and are never used for advertising. Audio is sent only to Google's Gemini AI to generate your notes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete a meeting or my account?
You can delete any individual meeting from its detail screen. To delete your entire account and all data, see the Account & Data Deletion page.
I forgot my password.
On the login screen, use "Forgot password" to receive a reset link by email. If you signed up with Google or Apple, simply sign in with that provider.
