1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address, an optional display name, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your verified email address and name from that provider — we never receive your Google or Apple password.

Meeting recordings and audio

When you record a meeting, the app captures audio through your device's microphone. Recording only happens when you explicitly start it. The audio file is uploaded to our servers so it can be processed into notes.

AI-generated content

From each recording we generate and store a transcript, summary, meeting minutes, key decisions and action items. This content is associated with your account. If you use the "Ask AI" feature, we also process the questions you type about a meeting in order to answer them.

Purchases

When you buy AI credits on meetnguru.com we keep the pack you bought, its price, the billing country you gave at checkout and the payment's reference. Card details are entered on the payment provider's page (Stripe's, or iyzico's on zincirx.com) and never reach us. In-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google, who tell us only what was bought.

Technical information

We collect basic technical data needed to operate the service, such as device type, app version, and — if you enable notifications — a push notification token.

2. How we use your information

• To transcribe your recordings and generate meeting notes.
• To create and secure your account and authenticate you.
• To sync your meetings and notes across your devices.
• To send you service emails (email verification, password resets) and, if enabled, notifications when your notes are ready.
• To operate, maintain and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your meeting recordings or notes for advertising.

3. AI processing & third-party services

MeetNGuru uses one third-party AI service: Google's Gemini API. The following data is sent to it, and only to provide the features described:

• Meeting audio — each recording you make is sent to the Gemini API for transcription and analysis to produce your transcript, summary, minutes, decisions and action items.
• Meeting titles, transcripts and notes — when you use the "Ask AI" feature, the meeting's title, transcript and generated notes are sent to the Gemini API together with the questions you type, so it can answer using your meeting content.

Your email address, password, display name and other account details are not sent to the Gemini API. The app asks for your explicit permission before any of this data is shared: an in-app consent screen is shown after you sign in and nothing is sent to the AI service until you agree.

This processing is governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy commitments for the Gemini API, which require Google to protect your data to a standard at least equal to this policy. Google does not use this data for advertising, and we do not permit any third party to use your data for purposes other than providing the service.

We also rely on these service providers to run MeetNGuru:

• Google (Gemini API) — AI transcription and analysis.
• Google & Apple — optional sign-in, and in-app purchases in the mobile apps.
• Stripe — card payments on meetnguru.com for buyers outside Türkiye, sold by ZincirX Inc. (a Delaware corporation): your name, email address and payment details.
• For buyers in Türkiye: ZincirX Bilişim Teknoloji ve Danışmanlık A.Ş., the seller, which receives your name, email address and the details of your purchase to invoice it, and iyzico (iyzi Ödeme ve Elektronik Para Hizmetleri A.Ş.), which takes the payment on zincirx.com.
• Our hosting provider, which stores data on secured servers.
• Google (Google Analytics) — website and web app usage statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies (see Section 5).

4. Data storage & security

Your account data and AI-generated notes are stored in our database. Audio recordings are stored in private object storage that is not publicly accessible. Passwords are stored only as a one-way argon2 hash. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

While no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, we apply industry-standard measures to protect your information.

5. Cookies & similar technologies

meetnguru.com and the web app at meetnguru.com/app use only what is listed here. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Strictly necessary (no consent needed)

• zx_consent (cookie) — remembers your cookie choice: its version, the date and whether you allowed analytics. Kept for 6 months, then we ask again.
• mng_access and mng_refresh (web app, local storage) — keep you signed in until you log out.
• mng_billing_country (web app, local storage) — the billing country you last chose at checkout, so we don't ask again; kept until you change it or clear your browser data.
• mng_checkout_balance (web app, session storage) — your balance before checkout, to tell when the credits you bought have arrived; removed once read or when the tab closes.

Analytics — only with your consent

Only if you choose Accept analytics in the cookie banner (or switch Analytics on under Preferences) do we load Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC (USA), to count visits and see how the website and the web app are used. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_2YBYTXZ7QJ, kept for up to 2 years. Google receives the address of the page you visit (without its query string), your browser and device details and your IP address, and may process this data in the USA. With your consent the web app also reports a sign-up, the start of a checkout and a completed purchase (the order reference, the pack and its price — never your name, email address or card details); to count a purchase only once it keeps mng_ga_checkout (session storage) and zx_ga_sent:… (local storage). Without your consent the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all and nothing is sent to Google Analytics.

The legal basis for analytics cookies is your consent. Withdrawing it is as easy as giving it: choose Reject analytics under Cookie settings and Google Analytics stops and the _ga cookies we can reach are deleted. You can also delete cookies in your browser's settings.

Other

We use no advertising or marketing cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sets no cookies. The web app's sign-in screen loads Google's "Continue with Google" button, for which Google may use its own cookies if you are signed in to Google. The mobile apps contain no analytics or advertising tools.

6. Data retention

We keep your recordings and notes for as long as your account is active so you can access them. You can delete an individual meeting at any time from within the app — this removes its recording and notes. When you delete your account, all associated data is removed (see Section 8).

7. Your rights & choices

• Access — view your meetings and notes anytime in the app.
• Delete — delete individual meetings, or your whole account and all its data.
• Microphone control — recording requires microphone permission, which you grant and can revoke in your device settings.
• Notifications — push and email notifications are optional.

8. Deleting your account & data

You may delete your MeetNGuru account and all associated data at any time. See our dedicated Account & Data Deletion page for instructions. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, recordings, transcripts and notes from our systems.

9. Children's privacy

MeetNGuru is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app.
